Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator - Tier III to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled and proactive IT professional with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills. The Tier III Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, acting as the final escalation point for complex technical issues, and ensuring the efficient scheduling of on-site technicians.

Reports To: VP Solutions Engineering & Technical Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to desktops, servers, networking equipment, storage appliances, and cloud services.
  • Escalation Point: Serve as the final escalation point for technical issues, ensuring high-quality resolutions.
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and VMware-based infrastructure.
  • Networking Management: Configure and troubleshoot network switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • On-Site Technician Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule on-site technicians for client visits, ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery.
  • Vendor and Client Collaboration: Work closely with vendors and clients to support a wide range of applications and IT environments.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all IT systems adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to Tier I and Tier II technicians.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance IT service efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 1-3 years in a senior technical role.
  • Technical Skills:Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 administration, and VMware.
  • Deep understanding of networking principles (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless Networks).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, especially in scheduling and coordinating field technicians.
